About Finance Executive Alliance
The idea for Finance Executives Alliance came from conversations I had it with two very different groups of people.
The first was children of neighbors and friends who’ve graduated with either a BS in finance, a master’s in Finance or an MBA. The common theme I heard was that although they now had jobs in finance, they had no idea how to achieve their goal of becoming a top finance executive.
The second group was comprised of the finance executives that I work with every day.
When we talked about the business challenges they faced, it became apparent that there weren’t many of resources they could turn to for help or ideas.
I realized that it might be possible for one organization to help both groups.
The finance executives have life experiences which could be shared with younger finance professionals to help guide them in their career path.
These finance executives represented an extensive knowledge base which I reasoned could be leveraged to help each other.
What if members of Finance Executives Alliance could reach out to other members based on their cataloged expertise and experience? An association of experienced finance executives committed to helping each other succeed.
With the help of Tim Gentry, one of my finance executive friends, Finance Executives Alliance was born. Let’s see where we can take it.
